About The Event
Tulsi, a plant revered and cultivated in Indian homes for generations, belongs to the Ocimum genus and is known as Tulasi in Sanskrit, the language of the Vedas. In English, it is appropriately named Holy Basil. This sacred plant symbolizes purity and possesses the unique ability to cleanse the surrounding environment by eliminating toxins. Placing Tulsi near doors and windows can purify the air inside the home and remove harmful gases like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and sulphur dioxide. For those who wish to grow Tulsi indoors, it is important to ensure it receives ample sunlight.
Moreover, Tulsi leaves are widely recognized for their medicinal properties, particularly in home remedies for common colds.
Although all the plants are grown in the UK, the seeds are imported from India to preserve the authenticity of this revered plant.
